Return and Refund Policies

It is our mission to ensure that your CandysComfortSaddles.com shopping experience is simple and enjoyable. We honor all manufacturers guarantees.

45-Day Return Policy - If you are not completely satisfied with an item, you may return it within 45 days from date received. (Note: Taylored Tack is 30 days)

1. The item must be in its original condition and box; including all parts, accessories and packaging.
2. Call us at 541-326-6950 to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA#) and shipping instructions.
3. Include a copy of the original invoice with your return and write your RMA# visibly on the outside of the shipping package.
4. Please tell us why you are returning our product, so that we can continue to improve our service.
5. If you are returning product sent to you with free shipping the original shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

 

Return shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is being returned as a result of our error (damaged, defective, wrong item sent, etc.). If an item was sent to you with free shipping, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For your protection, we encourage you to send your return prepaid via UPS or FedEx. We do not accept COD. Save your shipping receipt and tracking number for proof of return delivery. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged by the return shipping company.

When requesting a refund, your original credit card will be credited once your return is processed. If you paid by check, your account will be credited. If using a prepaid gift card such as Visa, Master card, American Express, please retain the card to ensure proper credit.

When exchanging an item, you will see a credit to your original pay method for the returned item and a charge for the new item, plus shipping and handling.

Saddle Return Policy - If you are returning a saddle, your package containing a returned saddle must be postmarked within 14 days of the delivery date.

Saddles must be returned in NEW condition - please see Return Guidelines below for tips to keep the saddle in NEW condition in the event you need to return it. Saddles NOT returned in new condition will be subject to a restocking fee.

The customer is responsible for return shipping fees*.

*If you return a saddle that was sent to you with free shipping, the original shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

Taylored Tack Refund Policy

FIT: All Taylored Tack is custom-made tack and is based on the accuracy of measurements you provide to us and is therefore non-returnable. If you require fit adjustments, Taylored Tack will gladly make the first alteration at no charge, but the item has to be returned within 30 DAYS of purchase, in CLEAN condition, or item will be returned. All shipping costs on returns will be the customer’s responsibility.

COLOR or STYLE: Once a custom order is delivered, if the customer decides on a different color or item, please contact us. If Taylored Tack does accept the return, there will be a 20% restocking fee charged. Any item returned has to be done so within 30 DAYS of purchase and in NEW condition. All shipping costs on exchanges will be the customer’s responsibility.

Taylored Tack offers a 1-year warranty on all custom tack against any defect on the workmanship in the construction of the item.

REPAIRS: There is a $25 minimum charge for all repair work. Repairs will be billed at $25.00 per hour labor rate plus cost of material. The customer pays for return shipping and handling. Please, only send clean tack for repairs. Dirty tack gums up the very expensive sewing machines and will be returned.

Limitation of Liability - In no event shall the seller, Taylored Tack or Candy's Comfort Saddles, be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages or for damages in the nature of penalties. Seller is a distributor of products manufactured and warranted by others. The goods sold are furnished “as is” by the seller and are subject to the manufacturers warranty. Seller makes no warranty, express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose. Horses are strong and unpredictable creatures; it is therefore the responsibility of the owner to assess fitness and suitability of a product for his own horse. Taylored Tack and Candy's Comfort Saddles acknowledges that the word Beta® and BioThane® is a registered trademark of BioThane Coated Webbing  and Taylored Tack simply uses their products to make custom horse tack which is then old by Candy's Comfort Saddles.

***Note: Any returned items that do not abide by the guidelines above will either be sent back to the customer or will be issued Candy's Comfort Saddle store credit, minus an applicable restocking fee, at our discretion. All Returns and Exchanges must be submitted within 45 days of the Invoice date. Returns and Exchanges received after 45 days will be sent back to the customer and a refund or credit will not be given. Defective items must be returned within 15 days of the invoice.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
3. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable) - Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items, as a general rule, cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable) - We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at Candy@CandysComfortSaddles.com

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
